NAMED ROOKIE OF THE YEAR FOR 2008!Michael Newland currently races the number 00 Modified for Big Wheel MotorSports in the NASCAR All American Speedway Modified Racing Series.
Mike began his career in Quarter Midgets at age 5 and received 4 different series Rookie of the Year awards. Over the next 10 years he raced in numerous classes, his greatest achievement was winning the Grand Nationals in Pueblo, Colorado.
Mike stays cool on an off the race track with a Cool Vest designed just for him. When he races, the ever-present Cool Vest is worn under his race suit. Mike also likes to use a Cool Seat to protect his lower body from the radiant heat of his vehicle and the roadway.
Stay cool, stay sharp--that's Mike's motto. Small wonder he’s the driver to watch!
Mike believes that Cooltech's cooling products give him a competitive edge. "Man, when we finish a race, other drivers are getting pulled from their cars soaking wet."
